Dr. Stan Duchman

Stan's relationship with the Mandolas began years ago when they were neighbors in Houston. Stan would hail Damian to try a new champagne or wine and Damian would share his creations while working on new recipes for his cookbooks.

Damian and Trina proposed starting a vineyard, winery and restaurant in the Hill Country with the Duchmans. The opportunity to gain insight from such pros was irresistible. The rest is history and has been an exciting, fun adventure.

Stan is a busy cardiologist in Houston. When time permits, he enjoys assisting with projects in the vineyard, winery and restaurant. He is learning various aspects of vinification and wine blending as well as coordinating the wine list for Trattoria Lisina. His passion for wine and food as well as business operationsmake him a valuable asset to the entire project. In the future, he plans to transition more time to his second occupation of wine production and restaurant management.
